This club season, Tulsa Juniors will offer competitive teams from ages 10s – 18s. We will compete in tournaments locally, regionally, and nationally. Commitment
Tulsa Juniors is a competitive club promoting skill development and providing opportunities for competition in challenging tournaments. As a result, each player is expected to attend each practice and tournament throughout the season. We all know there are exceptions based upon our daily lives with both student athletes and parents. While Tulsa Juniors understands this, we ask each player to communicate those exceptions in upholding her commitment level.
Practices
Practices will be scheduled for one evening during the week and one afternoon during the weekend. A schedule will be posted on the website as soon as teams have been selected. We will begin training in early to mid November.
Uniforms
Tulsa Juniors will provide uniforms to players, excluding shoes and support braces. This includes jerseys, spandex, warm-ups, backpacks or bags, practice and warm up t-shirts, and socks.
Team Coordinators
Each team should elect a Parent Representative and Travel Coordinator for the season, as well as drivers, food coordinators and chaperones for each tournament. The Parent Rep will be responsible for communication between the parent base, the Head Coach, and the club. The Travel Coordinator will be responsible for planning and executing travel for teams during the season. Parent chaperones will travel with our teams and all players will stay in team rooms. A separate guide to tournament traveling will be distributed after the teams have been formed and players have signed.
Each team will have a tournament schedule approved by the Club Director and distributed to the team per planning purposes.
The success of Tulsa Juniors is shared by parent participation and support. Thank you for making Tulsa Juniors a reality!
Signing Party
Tulsa Juniors will host a signing party for each team once tryouts are complete.
